Are you an experienced Senior Product Manager who wants to drive innovation and growth for an $XB business with global reach? Do you want to lead initiatives that will have a significant impact to Amazon’s bottom line? The Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers business is looking for a Senior Product Manager (Tech) with cross-border fx experience to drive expansions in emerging markets for our existing suite of products. In this role, you will identify and develop innovative solutions to expand ACCS to support new currencies and geographies. The Senior Product Manager, ACCS will have the chance to build products focused on global expansion, innovation, and user acquisition for a profitable and strategically critical program for Amazon.

The overall ACC business provides a better payment experience for cross-border Buyers and Sellers worldwide and extends Amazon’s reach beyond the borders of our existing Amazon marketplaces. ACC owns two services: Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers (ACCS) and Amazon Currency Converter for Buyers (ACCB). ACCS enables Sellers to sell in more Amazon marketplaces by making it easier to get paid in their local currency to their home bank account, thus increasing the number of Sellers and product selection on Amazon marketplaces. ACCB makes it easier for international Buyers to pay in their local currency, improving the international customer experience and increasing the number of customers shopping on Amazon sites. ACC generates free cash flow and directly impacts the Amazon Flywheel.

The ideal candidate will bring the following to the position: a) strong product and business management skills including the creation of product and business strategy; b) strong and clear verbal and written communication skills to articulate your vision and influence others c) ability to dive into technical details and problem solve with the engineering team; d) ability to engage with internal and external partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Key job responsibilities
As the Senior Product Manager, ACCS, your key responsibilities will be to grow and expand the business by:

Lead the product lifecycle, developing and executing “think big” strategies to unblock expansion challenges in new geographies via new tech
Leading initiatives to launch new capabilities, remove obstacles, onboard new partners and integrate with other businesses across Amazon.
Working cross-functionally with other Amazon business teams to develop and execute products and programs that align to team and cross-company goals.

Partner with global business, legal, tax, and finance teams as well as our external partners to define and build simple solutions that solve complex regulatory challenges in emerging markets

Work on initiatives that unlock strategic growth opportunities for Amazon and our global selling community

Contribute to 1 year and 3 year business and technical plans

About the team
The mission of Amazon Currency Converter is to enable customers and sellers to pay and get paid in their preferred currency, and method. We value hire and develop, leading with empathy, and a world class sense of humor.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
