We are currently seeking a Sharepoint Administrator to join our team based in the Washington, D.C. area supporting the US Navy. What You’ll Do The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of the organization’s SharePoint environment. This role ensures the platform is optimized for performance, security, and usability, while supporting collaboration and document management across departments. Responsibilities Administer and maintain SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments Manage site collections, libraries, lists, workflows, and permissions Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to SharePoint functionality and integrations Implement and enforce governance policies, security standards, and best practices Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and develop custom solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint Designer Provide user support and training to ensure effective use of SharePoint tools and features Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates and SharePoint-related technologies Build training aids for the ARC Tool Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients Qualifications Active DOD Secret security clearance Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or 2 years additional relevant experience) 1-3+ years of experience administering SharePoint environments Proficiency with SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server and Microsoft 365 Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and workflows Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 services SharePoint or Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., MS-700, MS-900) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients Attend meetings and provide onsite/in-person support as required Compensation Policy: Salary ranges displayed are typical for this position, but MBC considers multiple factors when extending an offer.
