Job Title: Offshore Rope Access Technician (Levels I, II, III)
Location: GIS – Galliano, LA
Job Type:  Full-Time, Offshore

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Rope Access Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to perform a variety of duties that involve working at height, often in difficult-to-reach areas.

Responsibilities
- Perform rope access work in a variety of industries such as construction onshore and offshore oil platforms.

- Perform maintenance and repairs at heights.

- Rig ropes and set up pulley systems for work at height.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

- Document work performed and report any issues identified.

- Maintain and inspect rope access equipment.

- Work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.

- Perform emergency rescue procedures if necessary.

 

Skills & Qualifications
- IRATA or SPRAT certification is required.

- MUST have construction experience.

- Previous experience as a Rope Access Technician is preferred.

- Physical fitness and the ability to work at great heights.

- First aid certification is an advantage.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Understanding of health and safety regulations.

- Ability to work in a team environment.

- Must be comfortable working in outdoor and potentially harsh weather conditions .
