The GMD Weapon System processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat\. DoD Secret Security Clearance **Desired Skills:** - Master's degree in STEM \(Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics\) discipline - C, C\+\+, Java, Python, Ada, GoLang, Cython, Bash, Javascript, SQL, Mongo DB - Recent GMD GS/GWS model development - Working in an Agile environment - Developing code in a Dev Ops environment using Bitbucket or GitHub - Windows/Unix OS environment experience - Developing software in Object Oriented programing language - Software development for embedded systems - Writing/reviewing code in Ada, C\+\+, Java & Python - Review & verification of system level software requirements - Security\+ Certification or higher - Cloud technologies and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services \(AWS\), and Google Cloud - Kubernetes - Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment \(CI/CD\) - Software test execution - Microsoft Office Tools - Reading & understanding of technical data - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Strong technical writing and oral communication skills\. - Able to work independently or as a member of a team - Good interpersonal skills **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
