Job Title: Accountant / Senior Accountant

A Kforce client is seeking to hire an Accountant/Senior Accountant in Saint Louis, Missouri (MO). The responsibilities include:

• Financial reporting
• General Ledger maintenance
• Budget and Forecasting
• Month-end and Year-end closing
• Account Reconciliation
• Compliance and Audit support
• Collaboration with other departments such as finance, operations, and management
• Ad Hoc reporting
• Research and documentation on technical accounting topics like debt refinancing, hedge accounting, lease accounting, etc.
• Performing other duties as required

The minimum requirements are:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred but not required
• At least 2 years of public accounting and/or corporate experience at SEC-registered entities
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues timely
• Effective time management to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong ethics and integrity in handling sensitive financial information

The pay range is between $75,000 and $95,000 per year, based on skills and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life/disability insurance.
